Timothy Busfield (born June 12, 1957) is an American actor and director. He played Elliot Weston in thirtysomething, Mark in Field of Dreams and Danny Concannon in The West Wing. In 1991, he received a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for thirtysomething.

He played Dr. Jon Holland in the revival series episode "Under the Bed".

He has been married to Melissa Gilbert, who played Teresa Janovitch in "Relativity Theory", since 2013.
